Coal ReUse & Sphere One partner to process & distribute Coal ReUse’s UltraWhite Cenospheres
Chattanooga, TN: Coal ReUse Pty Limited of Sydney, Australia and Sphere One, Inc. of Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA are pleased to announce a partnership for the processing and distribution of Coal ReUse’s Ultra-White Cenospheres.
Coal Reuse Executive Chairman, Rodney T. Hudspeth, stated that “the unique relationship we have established with Sphere One will greatly improve product availability and logistics now that a USA based production arm has been established at a state of the art manufacturing facility.”
Sphere One President, John R. Kish stated “we look forward to working closely with Coal ReUse to develop and expand the end markets in which these products can be used without the historical limitations of supply or quality issues associated with other types of cenospheres”.
- Coal Reuse was awarded a 10-year contract in July 2014 to market the Coal Combustion Products (CCPS) generated by Stanwell Corporation’s Tarong Power Station located in Queensland, Australia.
- The cenospheres generated by this power station are widely recognized as the premium cenosphere resource available in the world.
- The combined efforts will be to process and market the high brightness white cenospheres to the world market.
Products will be available from November 1, 2015, and will be sold under the tradename Reluminaspheres™.
